The Little Hunter Basketball Association Helps Ethnic Minorities and Underprivileged Children Gain Positive Values and Motivation
With just over four months until the "Hong Kong China International Basketball Tournament 2024," the organizers, in collaboration with the Little Hunter Basketball Association, Hoop Dreams Basketball Academy, and the "Little Dream Along With Love Project," will host several "Little Basketball competition" These activities will provide professional training and various levels of competition for students aged 3 to 11, involving over 10 schools. The goal is to help ethnic minority children, economically disadvantaged young athletes, and athletes with disabilities, thereby promoting inclusion and equality.
Mr. Mike Heung, head coach of the Hong Kong Pegasus Kin Lung Basketball Team and Executive Chairman of the Little Hunter Basketball Association, stated that Pegasus Kin Lung has always had a mission. Besides striving for good results in the local A1 Division League, the club aims to give back to society and support young basketball players. Over the past few years, Pegasus Kin Lung has been actively involved in community affairs, organizing basketball exchange activities for various voluntary organizations, including underprivileged youth, ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities. In 2023, the club established the "Pegasus Kin Lung Scholarship Program" to support young basketball players facing economic difficulties, encouraging them to pursue dual development in sports and academics.
